Review: Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog 2016 – Part 3

October 11, 2016 by Heather Holbrook

Review: Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog 2016 - Part 3

I’m back with one last look at the Stamping Up 2016 Holiday Catalog. If you missed part one click here to check it out and check out part 2 here.

Stampin’ Up is ready to help you get started working on your cards, scrapbook pages, treat bags, party decorations, and home decor projects with the new Holiday Catalog. It’s filled with all new stamp sets (in wood, cling rubber and clear photopolymer styles), punches, die cut sets, embellishments (like washi tape, twine, charms, thread, tassels, sequins and ribbon), embossing folders, pattern papers, project kits and more. You’ll also find lots of inspirations, ideas and helpful tips. There are also several products that co-ordinate with items from the Annual catalog, so you might find stamps that work with dies you already own, it’s so great to get more uses from one set! Products in the Holiday catalog are available from now through January 3rd 2017.

For the card shown at the top I wanted to make a card using non-traditional colors so I chose Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron for my cute snowman in a jar card. The words are from Merry Mice all other stamps used are from the Jar of Cheer set which co-ordinates with the Everyday Jars Framelits dies. The pattern paper is from the Blooms and Bliss Designer papers, another way to use a non holiday look for a holiday card. I also added some sparkler with the Wink of Stella clear marker.

Next I made a quick tag using the Santa stamp from Cookie Cutter Christmas along with the matching Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. The Designer  paper is from Candy Cane Lane.

For my last project I used a couple more papers from Candy Cane Lane, cutting out the gingerbread house from one and adding the cute Gingerbread Men from Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and punching them out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. This card looks yummy enough to eat!

I hope you’ve loved all these holiday ideas from the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog. Click here to take a look at all the new products. Or contact your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for more info.
