Caitlin made this fa-boo-lous Halloween card using a large pumpkin stack with crows stamp from Pink and Main. But before that she tried to make a similar card but just wasn’t happy with it and felt the water coloring she tried was too muddy. This is something that happens to all of us card makers all of the time, you have an idea in your head but the execution just doesn’t come out like you’d hoped. This can be very frustrating but don’t give up, try switching techniques like your coloring medium, try different color combinations or try a different layout by moving your images around and you might be able to salvage that card or get on the right track to creating one you love. Caitlin ended up using OLO markers instead of watercolor for the stamp, she also used an orange dry embossed panel instead of a dark black splattered cardstock and the results are wonderful!
