Did you know most metal dies can cut materials other than paper? Many can cut fabrics and thin felt like Amy did for this amazingly cute Halloween card. The felt adds such a soft touch to the doggy dressed up to go Trick or Treating. The embroidery hoop cut from cardstock adds to the handmade feel of the design. This purple cat trick or treat pail makes me think of Boo Buckets from McDonalds. Brenda used bold purple, yellow and oranges with a stenciled crackle background and piles of die cut candy corn. She dry embossed and ink blended the spider web background and added simple color to stamped images with alcohol markers. Watch her video tutorial at Simon Says Stamp.
Stacey used brightly colored striped paper for part of the background of this darling witch card, pulling some of those colors to color in the stamped images with Copic Markers. Lori’s card literally fits the theme with the stamped sentiment of “Too cute to spook”.
