12 Handmade Bunny Cards for Easter and Spring

March 18, 2025 by Heather Holbrook

12 Handmade Bunny Cards for Easter and Spring

This darling card by Elise has cheerful spring colors of purple and green. The scene is set over a scalloped plaid background with a stamped bunny sitting between two baskets filled with flowers along with fluttering butterflies and a heat embossed sentiment. Take a closer look at the Lawn Fawn blog.

The flowers are starting to poke out of the ground, the birds are singing and soon we’ll start seeing little baby animals being born. That means that Spring is here and soon Easter will be on it’s way! One of the most enduring icons of Spring and Easter is the Rabbit, the tale of Peter Cottontail hopping down the bunny trail stays with us from childhood and makes Bunnies a perfect inclusion for our Springtime paper crafting projects. So, let’s take a look at some amazing card ideas for this time of year that include Bunny Rabbits.

Beneath each photo you’ll find a link, click it for more details like tutorials, products used and techniques.

Hello Heather!! Thank you so much for sharing my Mr. Rabbit card! Usually I either sell or give most of my cards away to family, but this particular card I had to save for myself. Knowing that my kitties (unintentionally) helped me make this card makes it extra special to me and I decided I just cannot part with it. So I have it displayed in my craft room on my card shelf. I know one day I will cherish it even more if anything were to ever happen to any of them. Also, thank you for pointing out to NEVER cut a cat’s whiskers.

It’s such a wonderful card! I have 6 cats so I’d never want anyone doing harm to one. 🙂
