Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog 2019 Review Part 2

July 2, 2019 by Heather Holbrook

Stampin' Up Annual Catalog Review Part 2

I’m back with another look at the new annual catalog from Stampin’ Up.  If you missed my first post click here to check it out. Inside you’ll find lots and lots of clear and rubber mounted stamp sets, many with coordinating dies, pattern paper collections, all inclusive card making kits, embellishments, ribbons, new “In” colors in cardstock, ink pads, ribbon and loads more.

There are themes for birthdays, wedding, babies, outdoors, crafting, holidays, pets, florals, sentiments and more. If you love the ease of coordinating items the product “Suites” have things like stamps, papers, embossing folders, dies, embellishments, trinkets, and ribbons that all work wonderfully together (or on their own). The card kits are All Inclusive and include everything you need to make 15-20 beautiful matching card sets. Another product line is the new Storage line, with sturdy white plastic stackable trays with silicone feet to hold ink pads, 2 styles of markers, along with open cubes and lids so you can arrange them to fit your own crafting space.

For my first card (shown above) I used the Dino Days stamps and coordinating dies to create a cute flap card for a baby announcement. This set has lots cute dinosaurs with fun phrases to create awesome cards and scrapbook layouts with a dino theme. I also used dies from the Tropical die set and I’ll show you how to emboss instead of cut with your dies in my card tutorial video on Youtube. Click here to watch or check it out down below.

For my next card I used the pretty Free as a Bird stamp set which has sweet little birds, leaves and flowers with great sentiments. I used various colors of Stampin’ Up Classic Ink Pads to watercolor my images. The pattern paper is from the 6×6 Subtle Designer Series Papers.

Lastly I used the funny We’ll Walrus Be Friends stamp set to create a cute birthday card. I used a Stitched Shapes Circle die to cut my openings and Stampin’ Blends Markers to color my images. I love the little Walrus hiding his face!
