Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog Review

June 12, 2019 by Heather Holbrook

Stampin' Up Annual Catalog Review

The brand new annual catalog from Stampin’ Up is now available! Inside you’ll find lots and lots of clear and rubber mounted stamp sets, many with coordinating dies, pattern paper collections, all inclusive card making kits, embellishments, ribbons, new “In” colors in cardstock, ink pads, ribbon and loads more.

There are themes for birthdays, wedding, babies, outdoors, crafting, holidays, pets, florals, sentiments and more. If you love the ease of coordinating items the product “Suites” have things like stamps, papers, embossing folders, dies, embellishments, trinkets, and ribbons that all work wonderfully together (or on their own). The card kits are All Inclusive and include everything you need to make 15-20 beautiful matching card sets. Another product line is the new Storage line, with sturdy white plastic stackable trays with silicone feet to hold ink pads, 2 styles of markers, along with open cubes and lids so you can arrange them to fit your own crafting space.

For my first card (shown above) I used the adorable We’ll Walrus Be Friends stamp set. I love ocean and sea creature so I love this set, it’s one of my faves! I used the scallop edge die from the Be Mine Stitched dies for the waves and used the new In Color Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends markers to color my walrus. Stampin' Up Annual Catalog Review

Next I used the fun Check You Out stamp set for this birthday card. My inspiration was Harry Potter with an owl and glasses sitting on a stack of books. I used various Stampin’ Up ink pad colors for stamping my solid images, adding texture to my owl with Stampin’ Blends markers. This set is great for teacher cards, graduation or for anyone who loves to read. The pattern paper is from the 2019-2020 6×6 In Color Designer Series Papers.

Stampin' Up Annual Catalog Review

For this last card I used the lovely Beautiful Friendship stamp set , I love all the soft floral images in this set. I stamped with various ink pad colors from the Subtle collection onto Watercolor Paper, die cutting it out with a die from the Stitched Rectangles die set. The sentiment is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

I hope you’ve enjoyed a peek at some of the new products available in the Stampin’ Up annual catalog. You can order now from your Stampin’ Up demonstrator (click here to find one near you) or directly from them online.

Be sure to check back soon for more ideas with the new Stampin’ Up products.
