If you’re looking for paper crafting inspiration Paper Pumpkin is here to inspire you and bring creativity to your door each and every month. Paper Pumpkin is a subscription kit brought to you by the folks at Stampin’ Up. When you sign up you’ll get a box full of just about everything you need to complete multiples of that months project along with an instruction sheet and a link to an on-line video tutorial. Kits might include things like a clear stamp set, blank cards and envelopes, ink pads, stickers, embellishments, washi tape, twine and more. In most cases scissors are all you might need to complete the projects, a clear stamping block will be included in your very first kit.
This month’s kit got everything you need to make 8 fun fall shaker cards. Including a stamp set, mini ink pad, card bases, envelopes, twine, sequins, die cut cardstocks and adhesives.
For my first card (shown above) I followed the kit directions but I also wanted to use the products and made my own design. I used the die cut leaf shapes and added inks to them with a sponge for a realistic looking leaf , adding them falling down the stamped background strip of cardstock. Then tying the twine down the edge, adding the banner and a scattering of sequins across my card.
