Review and Giveaway: Stampin' Up May Paper Pumpkin Kit

If you’re looking for paper crafting inspiration Paper Pumpkin is here to inspire you and bring creativity to your door each and every month. Paper Pumpkin is a subscription kit brought to you by the folks at Stampin’ Up. When you sign up you’ll get a box full of just about everything you need to complete multiples of that months project along with an instruction sheet and a link to an on-line video tutorial. Kits might include things like a clear stamp set, blank cards and envelopes, ink pads, stickers, embellishments, washi tape, twine and more. In most cases scissors, adhesive and clear stamping blocks are all you might need to complete the projects.

The kit for May includes 4 patterned gift bags, thick colored bakers twine, die cut shapes, tissue paper, foam adhesive, 6 patterned cards, 6 envelopes, a mini ink pad and a clear stamp set. Everything you need to make 6 birthday cards and 4 matching gift bags (you’ll just need a clear stamping block). For my projects (shown above) I followed the directions included in the kit. For my alternative project I added lots more stamping and the twine to the card and added some stamping to the back of the envelope. These fun and festive cards and bags can be made quickly and easily and the colors and patterns will work for anyone’s birthday celebration.
