Product Review: Whimsy Stamps Part 2

August 21, 2018 by Heather Holbrook

Product Review: Whimsy Stamp Part 2

I’m back to share some more ideas using stamps from Whimsy Stamps. They carry photo-polymer clear stamps, rubber on cling mount stamps, digital stamps, stencils, metal dies and pattern papers. Whimsy has many different talented artist that design their stamps so you’ll find lots of different styles to choose from with loads of different themes. If you missed my first Whimsy review please click here.

For my card shown above I used the sweet Make a Wish fairy stamp. This is a large rubber stamp mounted on cling foam and is big enough to almost fill an entire card front, isn’t she cute!? I colored her with watercolor pencils and added Stickles glitter glue to make her wings sparkle. I also added some Nuvo Crystal drops around her for some added embellishment.

For this next card I used the dog and daisy stamps from the Girl Best Friend clear stamp set. Whimsy has a wonderful selection of Pet Sympathy stamps that also work for everyday cards too. I watercolored my background, a few of the flowers and the dog and made a fun scene with them. I love that this sentiment can be used with either the “dog” or “cat” words.

For this last card I used the touching Soul Mutts clear stamp set. I used small ink cubes and pulled them across my cardstock for the rainbow background. I stamped the girl and dog on vellum with black Staz-On ink, coloring them with water based markers, adhering the vellum with brads.
