Product Review: PSA Essentials Stamps

January 20, 2011 by Heather Holbrook

PSA Essentials stamps has a very unique and clever approach to stamping that I’ve never seen before. So I was really excited to give their stamps a try myself!

PSA Essentials stamps are round clear interchangeable personalized stamps. The stamps themselves consist of two parts, a round outer stamp and an inside middle design, both of which can be swapped out to mix and match any of their other stamps. So you can have an address stamp and change out the middle image to match whatever occasion you want, how cool is that!? You can use the stamps with their self inking stamp body (they offer 22 different ink cartridge colors) or you can use them on clear acrylic blocks. In addition to having personalized stamps they also offer great stamp sets with Hello Kitty, Peanuts, College and Universities, Skelanimals, original designs (with lots of holidays and everyday images) and lots more.

Shown above are some of the projects I made using the PSA stamps. They are very high quality clear stamps and stamp really nicely. I used both the stamp body and my own acrylic blocks to stamp with, both methods worked great. The self inking stamp body is super quick to use, perfect for return addresses, tags, labels, etc. Here I made a seal for the back of an envelope with mine. Changing the stamps on the body is quick to do, PSA has a video showing you how easy it is. For the cards I used alot of my round and scalloped punches and dies , they work perfectly with the PSA stamps. I loved being able to change the outer ring stamp, like in the Hello Kitty card the “Cowabunga” is actually from a Snoopy set. Using a clear block I was able to stamp the outer ring and middle stamps in different colors. These stamps have loads of different uses, wouldn’t this be the perfect gift for a new bride or new home owner?

Stay tuned next week, we’ve got a special surprise from PSA Essentials…..a giveaway!!

Do these self ink stampers come in only one size? I stamp kids hands as they leave the store I work in.

Yes, they are all the same size.
btw make sure you’re using non toxic ink when stamping on skin. I’m not sure if PAS’s is or not but it’s always good to check first.
