I’m back with another look at some of the products from the brand new Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog for 2018! If you missed part one click here to check it out.
This years catalog is filled with wonderful stamp sets, dies, pattern papers, kits, embellishments and more for Fall, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Winter and Christmas. With themes like witches, animals in costumes, fall leaves and florals, snowmen, winter scenes, gift tags, trees, wreaths, stockings, candy canes, Santas, lights and ornaments and loads more! Many of the bundles have stamp sets with coordinating dies and matching pattern papers and accents too. There’s also some project kits for quick and easy holiday cards and tags.
For my first card, shown up top I used the Cauldron Bubble stamp set with coordinating Cauldron Framelits dies. I think this is my favorite set in this catalog! I also used a stamp and two dies from the Farmhouse Christmas sets. I love combining sets! I used watercolors and the Frost White Paint for a trendy galaxy background. I colored my images with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Filmed a tutorial video which you can click here to watch on Youtube or check it out below.

For my next card I used the sweet Spirited Snowman stamp set. I wanted to change myself to do a toned down monochromatic color scheme. So I stamped the skating snowman going down a hill die cut from the Farmhouse dies and colored him with Stampin’ Blend markers in shades of grey. I used dies from Farmhouse and Cauldron Framelits Dies to make the tag. The pattern paper is from the Festive Farmhouse papers.
Lastly I made some from gift tags using the Signs of Santa stamp set. I stamped Santa, Mrs. Claus and the tiny tags and die cut them with the Santa’s Sign Post Dies, coloring them with Stampin’ Blends Markers. The round and oval shapes were die cut from the Farmhouse papers using the Stitched Shapes Dies from the annual catalog.
