How to Create Stamped and Mixed Media Christmas Ornaments

November 20, 2025 by Heather Holbrook

Emma used products from Tim Holtz to create these amazing stamped and mixed media Christmas tree ornaments. She used round dies, cardstock and plaid pattern papers to cut the circle bases and an arch for the ornaments, placing stamped images water colored with Distress Watercolor Pencils in the center along with some small sentiments. Two have clear domes to create shaker elements filled with Distress Snowflakes. For the greenery she used Distress Ink Sprays on paper and then die cut them out, adding them around the edges along with some Rock Candy glitter.
