I love creating cute cards, especially with animals, my Christmas cards most years are usually scenes with darling stamped critters doing thing like playing in the snow or decorating the tree. So I’m always on the look out for Cute Critter Christmas Cards like the one’s I’m sharing today, these adorable designs are created with new stamps, dies, papers and stencils. Mindy used dies to create this darling kitty cat card, I love her plaid outfit! She’s standing by a die cut tree with added markers color for texture, there’s an embossed woodgrain frame around the edges and a stenciled vellum snowflake background. Take a closer peek at the Lawn Fawn blog.
There’s no two cuter critters than Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Michelle used dies to create her merry card that holds a surprise, the ornament lights up when Mickey’s hand is pressed! How adorable is this little pig looking all dapper for the Holidays!? Aiysha’s Christmas card has a sweater textured background with a die cut hanging ornament which is a also a shaker element and inside is the cute wintery stamped scene with the pig. Amy’s amazing card features an entire orchestra of animals playing Holiday music. Her scene was created with stamps from Purple Onion and beautifully colored with Copic markers. Dina’s darling design has a stamped and die cut winter forest scene shaker element in the center with layers of pretty papers and die cut frames behind. But the star is that sweet stamped Panda who is mailing out her Christmas cards. Notice how the sentiment and the Panda include tan to help tie the design together. I spotted her idea on the Gina K. These kitty and bunny besties are building a snowman on this cute card from Crystal. She used markers to color her design and a scalloped edge die cut cut out her stamped scene, adding a simple stamped sentiment. Take a closer look at The Greeting Farm blog.
Looks like shakers cards are going to be popular for the Holidays this year! Here’s another, this time from Samantha. Her cute penguin was die cut with several of the outline layers cut multiple times to stack up to create the edge of the shaker. A skunk on a Christmas card? Why not, he’s a cutie pie! Julissa stamped and colored him with alcohol based makers, cut him out, placing him on a sentiment strip, with pattern paper behind and two die cut candy canes that form a heart, so stinkin’ sweet! Find more info at the Unity Stamps blog.
Do you want to build a snowman? These darling woodland critters on Janet’s pretty card certainly do. She’s stamped and colored her images, adding glitter with a Wink of Stella pen to the snowman then die cut many layers of white and teal from different square scalloped shapes. I love the bright and cheerful non-traditional colors on the quilt inspired background on Mendi’s adorable Christmas card! It won’t be a silent night for long if this naughty kitty pulls down the Christmas tree 🙂 (which my cats have done several times). Amy R. stamped and colored this cutie and the tree with OLO markers, adding some glitters die cut snowflakes to the background, a long label with heat embossed sentiment tied with twine and some shiny gems. She created two other kitty card with this set and is sharing a video tutorial at her Prairie Paper and Ink blog.
Marzena’s card has some darling deer having so much fun in the snow, sipping a hot drink and enjoying the snowy trees and blustery winter clouds.
