Isn’t it interesting how you can often see the emotions a person is going has by looking at the colors used and the strength they put behind the crayon, etc. Have you ever gone back through some of your finished artwork and ‘felt’ the happiness of that day? Coloring is such a simple yet complex art form, you just gotta love it. Mandala prints especially bring your personality to the front, I’d love to win this book!

I have always colored. I used it to de-stress in college, to energize myself when I needed to look for work, to pick myself up after a bad day, just to enjoy putting colors on paper, sometimes in unique ways. I used watercolor pencils one time on a mandala – and then spilled some water on it. I loved the way the colors melted together….coloring not only eases stress but helps you express your creative individuality. I would love to win this book, but I am just glad that there are others out there who enjoy coloring as much as I do.

My grandmother is an artist and brought me up in the world of art that is no my life. She started an art journal a few years ago that uses these types of printouts and color and embellishes them no matter where she is. My grandfather passed away last month and I’ve been sending her random things through the mail to let her know I’m thinking of her (and to keep her busy if I’m to be honest;) since I live on the other side of the US and can’t stop in to check on her often. I will defiantly print out and send her the one above- thank you for this review!!
