Dryer Sheets On Your Handmade Card Anyone?

September 6, 2008 by maggie Lamarre

Hi Everybody:

My dd was doing the laundry while I was sick, She must have used half of the box of the dryer sheets.

She said she luved the smell of them on the clothes.

Anywhoo I’m left w/a bunch of old sheets, so instead of throwing them away I decided to incorporate them into my card projects..

Here’s a simple card I created using the cuttlebug again and some Martha stewart punch and luveliness papers from K & Co and the laundry sheet, voila a quick card..

Instructions

I cut the paper to a size of folded 4.5×5

cut the vellum 4.5×5 and emboss

Then punch the edges with the Martha Stewart punch, chalk the vellum with shimmery chalk from Pebbles.

cut a small piece of dryer sheet then stamped an image

adhere to layered cs then add embellishments. Voila done in less than 10 minutes..:)

Have fun, enjoy your ART!

Maggie

Thanks for your tips! I’ve used dryer sheets but never thought of punching or stamping on them.
