The color-grouping idea IS a really terrific way to use up stash.
I *try* to sell at etsy and craft fairs pretty often, and another good way to do color grouping is to make a set of anything–I might use the same fabric to make a crayon roll, a colored pencil roll, a marker roll, and to embellish a blank journal. People who want to buy something at a smaller price point could buy one of these, but people who are interested in making a bigger purchase already have a matching set all laid out for them.
