If you’re like me and love to create cute cards adding animals is a fun and easy way to include some sweet furriness to your designs. With Valentine’s Day fast approaching it’s the perfect time to create cute cards with critters for those loved one’s in your life. If you’re helping your kids make Valentine’s Day card to pass out at school or you want to make something not too romantic for friends and co-workers these ideas are going to perfect for you. Let’s dive into some heartfelt animal Valentine card ideas.

Emily designed a sweet word background using stencils and pink ink for her darling design. The Panda is made with dies, he’s holding a stamped sentiment banner and is sitting in front of a die cut scalloped oval. There’s a stamped row of a bear, mole and rabbit holding conversation hearts and colored in soft tones with a plaid paper strip along the top and some sequins for sparkle. Deborah used a darling House Mouse stamp for her sweet card. Since the mouse is water coloring it makes sense that she used watercolors to color in her stamp. Julissa funny cat is for someone who doesn’t like expressing mushy feelings but still want to share some love. I think cats are going to be a popular theme for this years Valentine’s Day. On this sweet card from Kelly she stamped and colored her tabby kitty and added a cool 3D balloon in his paw. Wow, check out this amazing slimline Valentine’s day card from Lisa! She created that stunning background by ink blending pink and purple inks with a die cut metallic rose gold heart panel over top. There’s also a ink blended and die cut sentiment and let’s not forget the adorable stamped raccoon. I came across her idea at the Whimsy Stamps Instagram page.

Tasha colored her cute stamped kitty with Copic markers, adding him over a die cut grass, sky and clouds background cut from pattern papers.
