If you’re currently snowed in like I am it’s a great time to get in your craft room and make some cards! Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and if you’ve got lots of cards to make for family, friends, co-workers or if you’re helping your child make them for classmates you’ll probably want something that’s simple and easy so you can produce a bunch quickly. Today let’s take a look at some Valentine’s Day card ideas that are fabulous but won’t take too long to create.

Jennifer’s adorable card has dry embossed hearts on the background, a stamped sentiment and die cut doggie. Use different colors of cardstock for the different sections of the die and you can also add a little inking on the edges for a bit of extra dimension. Visit the Spellbinders blog for more info.
This wonderful, colorful card uses a long row of hearts die cut many times from white and colored cardstocks and pieced together for a rainbow design. A stamped sentiment and black mat finish it off perfectly. I spotted this idea on the Gina K. Designs Instagram page.
Sasha’s simply sweet card has a pink ink blended background with white splatter, a large die cut “LOVE” and a cute little stamped mouse from Lawn Fawn. Smaller stamps make for less coloring and faster designs like she did using brown and pink alcohol markers. Find step by step directions at The Cherry on Top blog.
Lisa used a reversable stencil for her terrific teal hearts card. With one side she inked over the stencil, then she flipped it and used stencil paste to add some nice texture. The shimmery silver title is a mix of glitter die cut paper and heat embossing. Learn more at the Altenew blog.
This pretty pink Peony card uses just one stamp (plus the sentiment). The background is the flower repeated all over, stamped in black and then a single flower has been colored and cut out and placed over top. Take a closer peek at the Polkadoodles blog.
Amy’s card is perfect for someone you love who loves coffee. I love how she recycled a pretty bag for the background. The cool color combo of grey with pops of red works so well together with the die cut coffee cup and stamped sentiment. I came across her idea on the Pink and Main Instagram page.
This super simple card has layers of white die cut circles, one with scalloped edges and the lovely center die cut from red with rows of falling hearts. The black card base goes nicely with the black stamped sentiment. I came across this card in SimpleBeez Creations gallery at The Stamps of Life.
Sandi’s chocolate cover strawberries card looks good enough to eat! Everything was die cut from colored cardstocks and layered together and placed in a circle around the stamped sentiment. There’s also shiny red gems for some sparkle. Find more info at the Sandi Mciver blog.
Lisa’s shared a card that has lots of color but not really any coloring. She used watercolor to create a beautiful pink and peach wash of color and then stamped her flowers on vellum and placed it over the watercolor, so pretty! Karen’s red and white card features her own stamped “pattern paper”. Using different heart stamps she created an all over pattern with red ink, notice how the design goes off the edge. This yummy pairing of cheese and crackers on Elaine’s card is so cute! There’s simple die cut layering and not much coloring needed, be sure to add a little grey beneath to “ground” the characters. Find more ideas with this stamp at the Stampingbella blog.
Cassie’s cool round card is a fan with a puny sentiment, all created with dies. I love the fan wearing red star sunglasses and how the sentiment looks ripped on the ends like it was caught in the fan, so cute and clever! Have a closer look at the Trinity Stamps blog.
