It’s time to get into a spooky mood because Halloween will be here before you know it! If you like things a little creepy, spooky and dark then you’ll want to check out todays card ideas. This super creepy skull tag from Barbara uses new stamps and dies from Tim Holtz. She created a cool background with alcohol inks and included lots of texture from glitter paper, domed eyes, black mesh and a metal key and chain. Take a closer peek at the Yaya Scrap and More blog.
This little grim reaper and his cat are being visited by some ghostly kitties on an ATC card from Stephanie. She used stamps from Sweet November, colored her images with colored pencils and added some neon jelly roll pen for a ghostly glow on the cats. I spotted her card on the Sweet November Instagram page.
Caly is cooking up a cauldron brew on this card that uses new dies and stamps from Lawn Fawn. The bright green potion really stands out against her ink blended purple background created with Distress Oxide Inks. There’s also a die cut spider web with a few little stamped spiders. I know these aren’t cards but I had to share these creepy stamped home decor frames from Juliana. For these mixed media projects she painted wooden shadow boxes in brown adding crackle medium, placing tied black ribbon to the tops. I’m a huge fan of Edgar Allan Poe so of course The Raven is my favorite featuring the Raven sitting on a skull with the title and author, it looks like a real book jacket.
