Using felt embellishments is a really popular trend right now.
You can make your own as I have done on the sample card by using a die cutting machine. I used sheets of felt from the craft store in my Cuttlebug from Provocraft with one of their flower dies and the Olivia Alphabet die set.
Or you can buy lots of pre cut embellishments like these 12 x 12 sheets from Fancy Pants Designs:

Tip: Use a strong liquid glue, brads or sew felt embellishments to hold them in place.
