Lots of stamp companies are now offering matching dies to go with their stamp images so you don’t have to cut around it out, just die cut it. The My Favorite Things blog has another way to use these same dies for a technique called recessed stamping, cut out the front panel of the card with the dies and lay the stamped design behind the opening for a different take on layering.
