I’m not sure I’d really call this technique stamping but it’s just too cool an idea not to share. Using flowers and a hammer (yes, a hammer) you can tape down flowers and hammer over them, leaving behind some of their color and shape. I’ve never seen anything like this and I love it! You can do this on fabric as well, but it must be fabric with no finishes on it-PFD-prepared for dyeing. Then there’s a process to help make it semi-permanent. I’m not sure if it’s vinegar, but Alex Anderson had a guest on one of her shows that explained this.
