Stampin’ Up Occasions Catalog 2019 Part 2

January 22, 2019 by Heather Holbrook

Stampin' Up Occasions Catalog 2018 Part 2

The brand new Occasions 2018 Catalog from Stampin’ Up is full of wonderful additions to the annual catalog. You’ll find themes like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day, Easter, Spring and birthday. With clear and cling mounted stamp sets with matching and stand alone dies, new pattern paper collections, kits, ribbons, punches, embossing folders and embellishments. There are designs like hearts, pets, florals, cakes, treats, butterflies, outdoors, baby and lots more.

If you missed part 1 of my review be sure to click here to check it out.

One great new change for Stamin’ Up is the newly designed labels for their Cling Stamps. The stamps are the same great quality rubber with a foam cushion but the clear labels have a much better cling to them so they hang on to clear blocks perfectly. One tip when you get your new stamps, be sure to very carefully line up and apply the labels to the foam, the adhesive is very strong and they can’t be repositioned. Also be sure to very carefully remove stamps from blocks after stamping and cleaning.

For my first card shown above I used the sweet Fable Friends stamp set. This set is perfect for Spring, Easter and Baby cards. It has the most adorable animals like these Mama and baby ducks. I stamped them in Black Staz-On ink and used the Stampin’ Up Watercolor Pencils to color them. The pretty plaid paper is from the Gingham Gala papers and the ribbon is one from the All My Love pack.

Next I used the layered stamping set Happy Tails which has the dog outline with two different spot patterns to add, a dog house and accessories. Isn’t he cute? The bowl is from the Nine Lives cat set, I love how several of the stamps in both sets can be mixed and matched. The pattern paper is from the All My Love pack.

Lastly I used the oh so fun Hey Love stamp set, I think this is one of my favorites in this catalog. This time I used the skunk along with dies from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits dies with some ink blending behind. Coral is super trendy right now so I used Stampin’ Up Calypso Coral cardstock and ink for blending.

All products from the new Occasions catalog are available from now through June 3rd 2019. You can order directly from Stampin Up or click here to find a local demonstrator.

I hope you’ve enjoyed a look at a few of the new products from the Occasions catalog, check back soon for more ideas.
