Sneak Peek: Stampin’ Up Christmas Holiday Catalog

August 1, 2017 by Heather Holbrook

Sneak Peek: Stampin' Up Holiday Catalog

I am super duper excited to share with you an early preview of one of the new bundles from the Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog called the Carols of Christmas! This bundle includes the Carols of Christmas stamp set (in clear mount or wood mount) and the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies.

This lovely stamp set has two large sentiments, hanging ornaments, a deer, holly, poinsettia and accent stamps. It coordinates perfectly with the die set, that includes a frame, trees , stars and shapes to die cut the deer, ornaments, holly and leaves.

For my first card, shown above I used gold embossing powder for the sentiment and used the dies for a sort of puzzle piecing technique. The pattern paper is from the Eastern Palace Suite from the annual catalog. If you’d like more on how I made this card and take a closer look at the stamp and die sets you can check out my video over on Youtube, click here or watch below.

Next I used the tree dies and stars to cut openings for a shaker card using a piece Window Sheet adding sequins and glitter inside. I stamped some pale blue stars and the little deer in the trees. The background paper is from the Eastern Palace papers.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment with Staz-On Ink and used the Water Color Pencils to add color over top. I stamped out the hanging ornaments in black and then again in matching colors and die cut them out, popping them over top with foam tape, adding Pearl Basic Jewels to each. I used the frame die cut with cardstock behind to make the open designs around the edges.

I hope you’ve enjoy this sneak peek from the new Stampin’ Up holiday catalog!

The Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog comes out Sept 1st but you can buy the Carols of Christmas bundle starting TODAY! The Wood-Mount Stamp Set and Framelit is $52.00 and the Clear-Mount Stamp Set and Framelit is $45.00. Click this link to purchase.
