Shaker Card Dies Review

March 17, 2022 by Heather Holbrook

Shaker Card Dies Review

Did you know that Craft Gossip has it’s own on-line store? It carries cute items like wearable pins, labels, printables, bulk items, fabric, patterns, kits and much more. And best of all, world wide shipping is FREE! (please allow 4-5 weeks depending on location).

For paper crafters there are a few fun die sets including dies that are made for creating shaker elements. These thin metal dies work in a most manual die cutting machines and can create projects for cards, scrapbooking, planners and more. I tried out the Soda Bottle and Ice Cream dies to create some yummy cards. The dies have “outlines” to create a border for the shaker but each set has lots of elements so they are very versatile and can also be used to create non-shakers as well.

For this card I created a masculine design with a woodgrain background and beer bottle shaker. Cutting the opener, label and bottle cap from metalic silver cardstock, adding green and brown tiny sequins inside the bottle.

I made 2 cards with the Ice Cream set, one shaker in pastel colors, the other a non-shaker cutting the ice cream and cherry from glitter cardstock.
