I’m back to share more new products from the brand new Stampin’ Up catalog! This catalog is full of wonderful ideas for card making, scrapbooking and parties! There are loads and loads of new stamps in wood mount, cling mounted and photo-polymer options including new large single background stamps and coordinating stamp sets with themes like birthdays, babies, florals, tags, borders, butterflies, words and phrase, friendship, animals, outdoors, kids and so much more. For quick but beautiful scrapbook pages there are a bunch of new Project Life collections and accessories. You’ll also find new project kits, embossing folders, patterned washi tapes, embellishments and thinlits and framelits metal dies. There’s also 5 new “in colors” in ink pads, pattern paper, markers, cardstock, and lace ribbon. The new catalog for Stampin’ Up has you covered for all your paper crafting needs!
For my first card, shown above, I used the adorable Talented Trio stamp set, this set has 3 sweet girls along with sayings and accessories. I stamped the artist girl twice, once on cardstock and again on a tiny polka dot paper from the Sweet Little Things Designer series paper, cutting out her dress to paper piece on top. The card base was cut using the Circle Card Thinlet die, once from cardstock and twice again using more pattern papers from Sweet Little Things. This card sized die cut makes a fun card that flips open with design in the center. I also added the words from the stamp set and the paint swath from the Sheltering Tree stamp set.
For my next card I stamped the jelly fish repeatedly from the From Land to Sea stamp set. I colored them with water color pencils and an Aqua Painter brush. I used a Sponge Dauber and ink pad for the background. I then covered the jelly fish in clear Dazzling Details glitter glue.
For my last card I used the Traveler stamp set, this set is perfect for masculine birthday cards, Bon Voyage or Father’s Day cards. I scrunched up paper and rubbed an ink pad over the crinkles, adding the stamped train and luggage. I used a Sponge Dauber and ink pad to ink the edges of all the papers. I also adhered a vintage ticket to the card with a clip from one of the Project Life accessories kits.
