Review and Giveaway: Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin Kit for August

If you’re looking for paper crafting inspiration Paper Pumpkin is here to inspire you and bring creativity to your door each and every month. Paper Pumpkin is a subscription kit brought to you by the folks at Stampin’ Up. When you sign up you’ll get a box full of just about everything you need to complete multiples of that months project along with an instruction sheet and a link to an on-line video tutorial. Kits might include things like a clear stamp set, blank cards and envelopes, ink pads, stickers, embellishments, washi tape, twine and more. In most cases scissors are all you might need to complete the projects, a clear stamping block will be included in your very first kit.

This month’s kit includes everything you need to make 3 each of 2 styles of card and 3 small envelopes with pullout cards. It includes a stamp set, mini ink pad, card bases, envelopes, pre-cut squares and die cut shapes, ribbon, twine, wooden shapes and adhesives.

For my cards shown above I followed the kit instructions. But I always like to make an alternative project so made another card, stamping the main image onto an a square of kraft cardstock, (everything else used is from the kit), and coloring it and the wooden flower with Colored Pencils,
