Product Review: Stampin’ Up Chalkboard Banner

March 24, 2015 by Heather Holbrook

Product Review: Stampin' Up Chalkboard Banner

Want to add a fun decoration to a party or looking to add something pretty to your wall, how about a festive banner? And even better the words on this banner can be changed for the seasons or the occasion because it’s a chalkboard banner! So you can write and erase and change it as often as you’d like.

The Chalkboard Banner Simply Created Kit from Stamping Up includes 15 pre-cut chipboard panels that are coated black chalkboard (measuring 4″ x6″ each), 32 pre-cut pattern papers pennants, 4 paper pom-poms, jute and even chalk. Write whatever you want on the chalkboard shapes and mix and match them with the pattern papers and make a customized banner for a birthday party, baby shower, welcome home or any occasion and next time you need them wipe them clean and start again, even switch up the pattern paper colors too. Or make a permanent home decor wall project by using rubber stamps and Chalk Ink Pads from Stampin’ Up that won’t rub off.

For my banner I used some of the blue papers alternated with the chalkboard pieces and a since my hand writing isn’t the best I use a stencil with the chalk to spell out my letters. I added a pop-pom to each end and now I’ve got a wonderful banner to hang over my work space!

The Chalkboard Banner Simply Created Kit from Stampin’ Up is $19.95 and is available to purchase on their site or directly from your Stampin’ Up Demonstrator.
