Product Review: Stampin’ Up!

July 3, 2014 by Heather Holbrook

Product Review: Stampin' Up!

This is my third review using products from the brand new Stampin’ Up Catalog. If you missed my first post with details about what’s in the catalog, along with project ideas you can check it out here and my second review is here. I also have a separate post with lots of samples using the new Blendabilities Markers that you can check out here and about the Project Life scrapbooking line over here. That should keep you busy for awhile:)

The new Stampin’ Up Catalog is full of not only great new products but lots of ideas, samples and inspiration. I “borrowed” the layout and look of one of my favorite cards in the catalog for my first card (shown above). I used the Cupcake Party stamp set with some bright inks and added a touch of glitter to the cupcake tops.

For my next card I used the adorable Nuts About You stamp set, stamping the tree onto the cardstock base in brown, then stamping it on a separate cardstock piece in green, cutting off the leaves and layering them over the tree top. I love the cute little Opossum from this set, I stamped him in grey and added a bit of pink to him using one the Blendabilities markers and hung him from the tree. I stamped the sentiment on a label shape die cut from the Circle Card Thinlits dies. All the pattern papers on this card came from the All Abloom paper pad.

For my last card I used papers and a sticker from the Everyday Adventure Project Life set, these papers and embellishments work great for cards as well as for scrapbooking. The camera stamp is from Traveler stamp set. I think this makes a great masculine card.

All the new products from the Stampin’ Up catalog can be ordered directly on-line or from your local demonstrator. If you don’t have a demonstrator you can find one here.

I hope you’ve enjoyed taking a look at some of the great new products from Stampin Up, I’ve really enjoyed sharing them with you!
