I am really excited to bring you a product review for a fantastic new paper crafting company called Fun Stampers Journey, a new “at home party” company. You can host a party in your home or join and become a new “Journey Coach” (their term for consultant). Currently there is a special program going for Founding Coaches: the first 500 receive the starter kit for just $149.99 (over $550 in retail value!). Click here for more information on becoming a coach.
The stamps from Fun Stampers Journey are precut , deeply etched red rubber mounted on cling foam with the index label printed on the back, no need for trimming or assembling them, they are ready to go right out of the package. Stamps come on clear acrylic sheets inside a handy cardstock envelope, great for easy storage. You’ll find lots of different styles of stamps from realistic, to cute, to vintage and many different themes for all Holidays, birthdays and any and all occasions. They also offer 20 exclusive colors of inks ( with available Re-Inkers ) and cardstocks; ink pads are hybrid inks that will stamp on just about any surface and cardstocks come in both 12″ x 12″ and 8 1/2′ x 11″. You’ll also find a large selection of metal die cuts (many that coordinate with stamp sets), double sided pattern papers, and embellishments like confetti, shaped paper clips, rhinestones, ribbon and basics like adhesives, blocks and cleaners.
Today I’ll be sharing with you projects I made using brand new items from the Fun Stampers Journey Holiday Mini Catalog. Up first (shown above) I used the super cool Create a Bow die cut set to create my own custom bow using pattern paper from the Festive Patterns paper set. This die set has three dies, the flat bottom part of the bow, the center section that bends over and a strip to go around the middle, it took me only minutes to make a perfect bow, no knot tying needed 🙂 I wrapped my present in another Festive Patterns paper and stamped my gift tag using a sentiment from the Snow Burst stamp set.
Next I made a card using the snowflake stamps from the Snow Burst stamp set. I stamped the border cross the base of my card and layered on a piece of torn paper from the Festive Patterns papers. In the center I stamped the largest snowflake and then stamped and die cut the slightly smaller snow flake using a die from the Journey Blooms Holiday Set of dies. These dies give a nice detailed cut each time and have openings and holes to help you line up the dies with your stamped images. In the center of the snowflakes I layered some of the Holiday Elements Sequins.
For my last card I layered three different pattern papers from the Festive Patterns papers (all the papers in this set mix and match so well together) and then using more of the patterns papers I die cut the mistletoe leaves and berries and the bow from the Journey Blooms Holiday die set. I also added more of the Holiday elements Sequins in the center of the bow, they add such a nice touch of sparkle! And then fished it with a sentiment from the Snow Burst stamp set.
I hope you’ve enjoyed taking a peek at some of the products from Fun Stampers Journey. Be sure to visit their website for more information on their products, you can look through the entire catalog on-line and check out their blog for more project ideas and inspiration.
