Product Review: A Muse Studio January Collection

January 8, 2016 by Heather Holbrook

Product Review: A Muse Studio January Collection

Each month A Muse Studio offers a special selection of products, the monthly collections are small, curated collections that typically include 3-4 stamp sets, some dies, custom paper packs and other accessories. For the month of January it’s all about Valentine’s Day and Love with unicorns, hearts, X’x and O’s and more.

For my first project I used the adorable You are Magical stamp set, this set has a cute unicorn, clouds, a rainbow and phrases. I added the unicorn among clouds I die cut from different colors of cardstock with the Landscape die (found in the regular catalog) , adding star and words and adding some of the Rainbow Mix Sequins.

Next I stamped one of the words from the Be My Valentine stamp set onto a wrapper made with of the Candy Package Two die (found in the regular catalog). I punched out a heart and added some of the Rainbow Mix Sequins behind the hole inside a tiny bag to make a little shaker and wrapped it around a small candy box. I used the same die on the stick of a sucker using stamps from the You are Magical set.

For this next card I used one of the new White Heart Doilies, inking it with some Toffee ink to give it a more vintage feel, adding a stamped sentiment from the Be My Valentine set on top. The card base was stamped repeatedly with a small heart from the same set and tied with the Cherry Cotton Striped Ribbon.

Lastly I stamped on small squares of plain and Zig Zag cardstock to make my own pattern paper with stamps from the Be My Valentine set, adding the word in the center and strategically placing some of the Rainbow Sequins around.

All my projects used A Muse Studio stamps, dies, pattern papers and cardstocks.
