“Painting” with Embossing Powders for a Fall Card

September 5, 2024 by Heather Holbrook

"Painting" with Embossing Powders for a Fall Card

This stunning Floral Fall card from Patti uses different colors of embossing powders to “paint” her stamped images. For this fun technique she used clear embossing ink on a large background stamp that has leaves, flowers and butterflies onto white cardstock. She then adds pinches of rich brown, yellow and green embossing powders to small sections until all stamped areas are covered and then heats them with a heat gun. She finished off with a green inked edged card base, adding a border with embossed sentiment and an extra butterfly.

You can watch her video tutorial on the Ranger Ink Youtube page.
