I’m having such a great time trying out some of the new Stampin Up products! For my first project (shown above) I made a fun “front and back” card using the lion from the adorable A Little Wild stamp set. This set has an elephant, bear and lion with phrases that work with the coordinating Little Loves die set to make some fun fold over gift tags with images on the front and back. But for my card I used the images on the front and inside of my card to have the lion peeking through the hole cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits circle die.. The pattern paper is from the Whole Lot of Lovely designer series paper. I think it turned out so cute! If you’d like to try making one yourself I’m including a video tutorial.
Next I made this fun pig card using one of the pigs from the This Little Piggy stamp set. I made him into a polka dot pig by paper piecing him with paper from the Whole Lot of Lovely papers and cut the squares using the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. I also added a fence across the card using a stamp from the Garden Girl stamp set. This card is perfect for someone who loves pigs or lives on a farm.
Lastly I made a card with the sweet girl from the Garden Girl stamp set, adding the fence beside her and the little bird sitting on top. I colored everything using the Water Color Pencils and an Aqua Painter brush. The pattern paper is from Whole Lot of lovely. I love how cheerful this pretty set is, it’s perfect for anyone who loves to garden!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this first look at the brand new Stampin’ Up 2017 catalog. Starting now you can click here and visit the Stmpin’ Up site or contact your local demonstrator to place an order for all the new products. And check back later for more projects (and maybe another video) from me.
