Essentials Tools to Begin Stamping and Card Making

Did you make a New Years resolution to be more creative and start a new hobby? Why not try card making, it’s fun, easy, anyone can do it (yes, even you!), you can create a project in a short amount of time and discover the joy of sending your handmade cards to the one’s you love.

So if you’re new to stamping and card making you might be feeling overwhelmed and wondering where to start. There are some basic tools and products that will really help you on your first card making journey. Stamps, ink pads, adhesive, cardstock, scissors, coloring mediums (like markers, watercolor or colored pencils), a paper trimmer and stamping blocks or a platform (for clear stamps) are what I always recommend purchasing to begin card making.

You can also check out this very helpful article from Jaycee with his top 10 tools with info on how each are used, over on the Altenew blog.
