If you’re not familiar with embossing folders they are a plastic folder that you place cardstock inside and run through a die cutting machine that creates raised embossed designs. The Fantasy Butterflies embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp has beautiful butterflies fluttering all over it to create amazing card backgrounds but there’s so much more you can do with it too. This folder also has a set of small and large butterfly wings, body and antennae dies so you can die cut some of the butterflies out to use on their own.
Suzy has create 5 amazing card designs using this folder and dies that are all very different and can be used for many different occasions. For two cards she used the folder as a background but colored in the butterflies very differently, on another card she created a wreath with the die cut butterflies, she also used a floral folder and added butterflies flying around the blooms as well as a rainbow background with large die cut sentiment and brightly colored butterflies.
Take a closer look and learn more about how she put each card design together over on the Simon Says Stamp blog.
