Patterned papers are great for backgrounds on cards but what using them as a way to color? Virginia adhered strips of different pattern papers together side by side (essentially created her own custom design) and then stamped botanicals and die cut them. This added really interesting color and pattern to her stamped images. I also love how she used patterned papers for a woven background one of her cards.
