Book Review: Pusheen the Cat “Coloring Cuteness” Coloring Book

November 7, 2023 by Heather Holbrook

Book Review: "Coloring Cuteness" Coloring Book with Pusheen the Cat

If you spend anytime on the internet you’ve seen Pusheen the cat, this adorable illustrated and animated plump grey tabby cat is everywhere on-line and even off -line on loads of cute merch like plushies, subscription boxes, stickers, mugs, vinyl figures and several books, including coloring books. As a big fan of Pusheen I’m super excited today to bring you a peek at Pusheen’s latest coloring book called “Coloring Cuteness”! This book is full of charming brand new, never before seen illustrated coloring pages and activities featuring Pusheen and her friends. You’ll find perforated coloring pages with fun scenes like baking, creating latte art, eating ice cream, flying kites and making a snowman along with pages filled with random patterns and Mandala style images with lots of food and drinks, flowers, birthdays, all four seasons and more. There’s also fun pages like a word search, draw your own flower bouquet and connect the dots.

Book Review: "Coloring Cuteness" Coloring Book with Pusheen the Cat

I colored this yummy pastry and coffee loving page using Prismacolor pencils.

Ever since I was a kid I’ve enjoyed coloring, it’s probably why I was first so attracted to rubber stamping, I love coloring in stamped images. And as an adult I still love coloring in coloring books, it’s just so relaxing and as a card maker I’ve already got lots of markers and colored pencils that I enjoy using in my coloring books as well. So of course I couldn’t wait to jump in and color some of the pages in “Coloring Cuteness”!

Taro Boba is my favorite flavor so I used my Tri-Blend Spectrum Noir alcohol markers to color Pusheen enjoying one.

This wonderful coloring book should be high on your Holiday shopping list for anyone who loves to color, loves cats or loves Pusheen!

Here’s one of the activity pages, drawing your own flower bouquet.

Coloring Cuteness by Claire Belton is available by clicking here at Simon and Schuster or look for it at your favorite book seller. It’s releasing today and retailing for $14.99.

I know Halloween just ended but it’s my favorite Holiday so I had to color in this witchy page!

(Please keep in mind my copy is a preview and not a final copy and some things might appear different in the final published book.)
