This is my third and final review for the Stampin’ Up! Occasions mini catalog! This new catalog is chocked full of new stamps in wood and clear mount options, pretty Designer pattern papers, washi tapes, embossing folders, dies, embellishments and much more! With themes like Easter, baby, birthday, graduation, nautical, woodland animals, florals, Mother’s and Father’s Day along with trendy hot colors and patterns these new items will get you ready for all your spring paper crafting projects.
The stamps in the Geometrical set reminded me of the designs I grew up with in the 80’s so I grabbed some bright neon pink, purple and green inks and stamped out a background pattern of arrow and triangles, for the sentiment I used the same colors on the chevron stamp, words and more arrows. I think my card is totally rad!
Looking for more Nautical-themed papers, stamps and embellishments? Check these out on Scrapbook.comFor my last card I wanted to get that fun chalkboard effect that is so popular right now so I embossed the words and hearts from the Perfect Pennants set with white embossing powder on black cardstock. After heating it I used a q-tip and white chalk around the edges of the embossing. The sentiment is die cut from the Banner Framelit Dies and adhered using some of the Retro Fresh washi tape.
I hope you’ve enjoyed checking out all the projects I’ve made using supplies from the, Stampin Up! Occasions catalog, be sure to contact your Stampin Up rep or visit Stampin’ Up to order on-line.
