6 Quick and Easy Card Ideas using Pattern Papers

October 26, 2023 by Heather Holbrook

6 Quick and Easy Card Ideas using Pattern PapersDo you “hoard” pattern papers? I know I do. I guess sometimes I think they are too pretty to use, I’m not sure what to do with them or I’m waiting for that really special card project to use them but then all I end up with is a big pile of beautiful papers just sitting on my shelf. Papers are meant to be used and I really do try to make myself pick from the pile and actually use them. I’m always looking for ideas that bring them into focus instead of just using them as card layers or backgrounds so I was thrilled to come across this article from Vicky. She created 6 lovely quick and easy cards that put some amazing floral pattern papers in the spotlight. A sentiment or embellishment is all that is needed to finish these design so that the pattern papers really are the star of the show.

She’s sharing a video tutorial showing how she put all these 6 cards together over on her blog Clips-N-Cuts.
