I recently had the chance to try out some great stencils from a shop called Stencil Revolution. Using stencils on cards and other paper crafts has been gaining popularity for a while now. It’s really not surprising since there are so many fun techniques you can do with stencils! Stencil Revolution offers a wide range of designs and styles and best of all each stencil is available in different sizes so you can get a huge stencil for a wall in your home, medium sizes for decor projects or smaller ones for cards and crafts. Their stencils are laser cut so they have smooth edges and are cut from a durable Mylar so they are semi-transparent, sturdy and reusable.
I really enjoyed trying different techniques with each stencil and filmed a video showing them in action. You can click here to watch my video on Youtube or check it out below.

Here are some photos of each card I made along with the stencil used. This first card uses Texture paste and glitter with the Clouds stencil for a fun scene.
Next I used ink pads and sponge tools on the Hibiscus stencil for this bright Hawaiian themed card.
To get fuzzy paw prints I used a glue pad and brown Fun Flock over the Trail of Paw Prints stencil.
I used ink pads with a stipple brush and the Honeycomb stencil for this adorable bear and bee card.
Using markers I followed one of the branches on the Tree Branches stencil with markers for a wintry owl holiday card.
And lastly I used ink spray on the Arrows stencil for a masculine birthday card.
I hope you learned something and got inspired to try out some stenciling on your next card project. Be sure to click here and visit Stencil Revolution to see all the fantastic stencils they have to offer.
