This summer Simon Says Stamp has once again offered the very popular “5 Ways in 5 Days” on-line video classes. This year they covered popular card making trends like layering stencils, embossing folders, fresh color combinations, handy crafty tools and more.
One of the videos that really caught my eye was from Laura Bassen. She created 5 quick and easy Birthday Cards with lots of different fun techniques like stamping, ink blending, adding a shaker element, a shaped card, die cutting and more. These colorful cards will work for just about anyone’s birthday that you need to make a card for. And since they are simple to create you can sit down and create a bunch all at once so you’ll always have plenty of birthday cards on hand when you need them!
