3 Techniques to Create Bubbles for Cards

3 Techniques to Create Bubbles for Cards

Check out all these different bubbles Kari created for her cute card backgrounds. Using the same bubble stencil she used ink blending with Distress Inks on light cardstock, on another she used pigment inks on dark cardstock and for the final design she used paste and foiling. Visit the Miss Ink Stamps blog for a video how to.

I hope this inspired you to take a fresh look at your stencils and try something new! It’s amazing how one design can lead to so many different effects just by switching up your tools and mediums. Whether you’re all about soft ink blending, love the drama of bold pigment on dark paper, or can’t resist a bit of shimmer and texture—there’s a bubble background here for you. Let me know which technique you’re most excited to try, or if you’ve got a favorite bubble trick of your own!

Happy crafting
