I have always loved snowmen, I loved building them as a kid and as an adult I love decorating with them during the winter months and I have so many snowman stamps it’s kind of embarrassing 🙂 Snowmen and snowwomen can be used for not only Christmas but for any Winter occasion like birthdays too. So of course I wanted to check out all the latest snowman stamps, dies and card making supplies and ideas for this year and share them with you, so let’s check them out.

Joy has a video tutorial sharing how to add color to white die cut images. She also has a great tip for using other types of dies, this tree die was from a Halloween set but it’s perfect for Winter too! Watch her video on the Lawn Fawn blog.
Tina used a frame die to created little sections for her three snowmen who are having a blast in the snow. I love the non-traditional colors of pinks and orange, such a fun color combo! Visit the Papertrey Ink blog for a how to video.
This slimline card has a shaker element behind the die cut banner with stamped snowmen inside and outside for an amazing interactive design using products from Whimsy Stamps. I spotted this card on Irinacreaties Instagram page.
This stunning card from Jennifer is another no-line coloring technique with beautiful water coloring for a design that looks like it came from a storybook. Take a closer look on the Spellbinders blog.
Jennifer has a great quick and clever coloring technique that’s perfect for making lots of the same card for the Holidays. She created her own stencils by stamping and cutting away parts of the stamp and using ink blending to color. She’s posted a video tutorial on the Jennifer McGuire blog.
Wheeeee, isn’t this sledding snowman and penguin such a dynamic card!? Tina used Copic markers to color the images and create her own background too. For the snow flying up she used white paint and white embossing powder. Learn more at the RAM Stamps blog.
Snowmen pair so well with other winter characters like the penguin and reindeer on this cool Z Fold style card. I really love the stenciled sweater background and everyone peeking over the sentiment! Watch a video tutorial on the Gina K. Designs Youtube channel.
Stamping and coloring with colored pencils on Kraft colored cardstock really makes the images pop and creates a rustic card design like this sweet snowman card from Echo. I came across this on the UnityStampCo Instagram page.
I adore the pink and blue color combo on this card that has a wonderful glitter stenciled snowflake background behind the cute stamps. Watch a video tutorial on the Handmade in Windsor blog.
This lovely snowman card from Nicky only uses shades of red and black to color the stamped images and background. This is an easy way to keep your coloring and design simple if you’re creating many of the same card for the Holidays. Take a closer look on the My Favorite Things blog.
You can use the same one or two snowmen dies but change them up by adding different accessories like Cherion did on this slimline card. She added a beautiful rainbow of colorful hats, scarves and earmuffs to her row of snowmen. I spotted this card on the Cherion Instagram account.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this romp through the snow with lots of terrific snowmen card ideas!
