Winter is officially upon us and for many of us that means snow and when there’s snow there’s snowmen! I love snowmen, I loved building them as a kid and as an icon of Winter they are one of my favorites, I own *way* too many snowman stamps! But they are so fun and cute and can work for so many different occasions during the colder months. The bright colors on this sweet snow-family card from Samantha brings some cheerfulness to Winter, I love this color combo! She stamped the image then used making paper to mask it then ink blended the pretty background. She then colored them with Copic markers. Learn more at the Pink and Main blog.
This pretty in pink card features a teeny snowman inside a snow globe surrounded by golden snowflakes. Joy used hot foiling for the snowflake background and die cut the other falling snowflakes from metallic cardstock. Watch her video tutorial on the Lawn Fawn blog.
Snowmen don’t always have to be people, this group of critters created a cute Polar Bear snowman. Christy used stamps from Mama Elephant, colored with Copic markers, adding a soft blue polka dot paper for the sky. She also used several other pattern papers for the card base. Wow, the coloring on this card from Emily is amazing! She stamped the penguins and snowman with white pigment ink on dark blue cardstock and then colored them with colored pencils and the results are stunning! These snowmen and snowballs are having a blast on this card from Sandra that uses stamps and paper from Whimsy Stamps. The background scene is actually printed pattern paper, making for a quicker card. She added the stamped images and sentiment over top for a darling design! This fantastic family of snow people has a wonderful background with hot foiled silver snowflakes and a layer of vellum behind the stamped images.
