Brenda’s beautiful blue Morning Glories card uses layering stencils and blending with ink pads to create a wide border. Overtop she added a panel of scalloped die cut vellum and then the large stamped blue sentiment that’s been die cut. She continued the scallop with a thin white frame around the edges and there’s some yellow gems to compliment the flower centers. Learn more at The Ton blog.

Channin’s amazing Mother’s Day card has so much depth and dimension! Mindy’s lovely floral card features a bold background and large sentiment. On a white cardstock base she used layering stencils and bright colors of ink, using gradient blending with the color darker in some areas for depth. Over top she stamped a large word background in white ink several times and then added the stamped and die cut title. Watch her video tutorial on the Mindy Eggen Designs blog.
Bea’s wonderful card design is sort of like a half gate fold, with a section that folds over with a “belt” flap over top, it’s a really cool design! She used layers of cardstocks and pretty pink pattern papers with the darling stamped lady holding a big bunch of flowers that she colored using Copic Markers. Find step by step and video instructions for this card on the Unity Stamp blog.
Sharon had a tea cup stamp that she wanted to fill with flowers so she used a masking technique and did just that for this beautiful Mother’s Day card. I love all the layers of papers and notice how she took color inspiration from the pattern papers to Copic color her images but used slightly darker tones so they really pop! Wow, how stunning is this floral card from Arjita!? She stamped the image and used watercolor to color in and it looks like it came right out of a nature book. Notice how she offset the flowers leaving some “white” space with the faux stitched Kraft panel showing in the background, there’s also a stamped and die cut sentiment over the flowers too. I spotted her idea on the Gina K. Instagram page.
