Easter comes a bit early this year, on the last day of March, so it’s time to begin working on creating fun Easter baskets, planning Easter egg hunts, what to cook for Sunday dinner and of course for us paper crafters we need to create some wonderful Easter cards to mail out to friends and family. I love rabbits, I’ve even had a few as pets over the years so the Easter Bunny is a favorite of mine so I thought we’d take a look today at some new handmade card ideas using stamps, dies and stencils featuring everyone’s favorite rabbit.

This pretty in pink Easter card from Sheri features dies from Spellbinder with a cute bunny jumping into a basket full of carrots. Notice all the extra details like the floral paper, tied twine, stamped sentiment and tiny flowers with gems that take this card to the next level. Visit the Paper Crafty Creations blog for details.
Sharon decided to make her adorable bunny card interactive by adding a wobble to the back her sweet stamped girl bunny. If you’re not familiar a wobble is a spring with adhesive discs on each end that allows the image you adhere it to to bob, wiggle and dance. Visit the Art Impressions blog for more details.
Kimberly used perfect pearls on floral stamps to create a beautiful shimmery background and also used them to color in the two bunnies for more touches of sparkle on this darling Easter card. You can find step by step directions over on the Ranger Ink blog.
Keiko used dies to create this amazing Easter scene card, there’s so many wonderful layers and details! For the background she used inks and stencils that co-ordinate with the dies to easily add color and shading. Visit the Honey Bee Stamps blog for all the details.
How yummy is this Easter cupcakes card from Arsenia!? She used stamps, coloring them with Ohuhu markers and added lots of texture and details with a “torn” edged and pinhole dies for the frame and background and also added little die cut flowers and lacey frame dies for layering. Faux postage is all the rage right now (check out this previous post I made about it) and Amy used this trendy technique to create the most adorable card!
