The term “Cozy” for me evokes feeling of being happy, content and warm, what does it mean to you? In terms of design I think of things like warm cookies, sitting in front of a fire, being bundled up in cute sweaters and scarves or snuggling up inside on a cold wintery day. So today let’s cuddle up with some Cozy Winter and Christmas card ideas that use fresh new stamps, dies and stencils.

Aiysha’s card has two little stamped bunnies cozied up in one large sweater sitting in front of a pretty die cut wreath. I love the purple and teal ink blending in the background and touches of metallic cardstocks! Take a closer look at the Mama Elephant blog.
Brenda’s yummy Gingerbread card has a wonderful layered stenciled background, a layer of vellum and a die cut Gingerbread Man. The wavy faux stitching die cut edges make me think of rolled cookie dough and the white gel pen highlights and heat embossed sentiment really pop! Learn more at the Pretty Pink Posh blog.
Can’t you just image being all cozy inside this beautiful A frame cabin in the snow? Tina’s created an amazing scene card using dies from Spellbinders, with a small stamped sentiment. She used colored cardstock for most of the pieces but glitter cardstock for all the snow (which adds the perfect amount of sparkle), some splatter for additional snow and batting for the chimney smoke. Check out her video tutorial at the Cards and Coffee blog.
Rachel’s stamped indoor scene features a darling mouse all dressed up for the holiday’s in a cloak and Santa hat. He’s standing in front of a decorated fire place with a comfy chair, all colored with Copic Markers. She also stamped the stripped wall paper and checked floor too. This adorable elf is snuggled up inside the word “Noel” with a Holly die cut frame around a printed winter house scene. These printed papers help you create card designs faster which is always helpful around the holidays! I came across Marzena’s card on the Whimsy Stamps Instagram page.
Laura used lots of delicious baking dies cut from colored cardstocks to fill her cream colored card base. Notice how she placed many of them over the edges and trimmed the excess away. She also included some tiny gems and a die cut and stamped sentiment with greenery in the center. Watch her video tutorial at the Simon Says Stamp blog.
Christy’s card features a cute little mouse in front of his sweet little mushroom house stamped and colored with Copics. She created a soft blue background with water and Distress Ink adding a red scalloped die cut frame. Check out her how to video at the Christy Gets Crafty blog.
How super sweet is this snowman!? Colleen stamped and colored the snowman and bird with alcohol inks and created an amazing background behind them using a bubble stencil, gel pen and paint splatter. Take a closer peek over at the Unity Stamps blog.
Kelly’s wonderful Christmas card has a stamped Panda all bundled up in a bright scarf and sweater surround by colorful presents. I love the bright and bold non-traditional Copic coloring combos she used! The dry embossed background adds some nice texture too. Take a closer look at the Gina K. Instagram page.
Lots of different cute critters are all cozied up in a big sled on this darling card from Mendi. For her background she used Distress Ink for the blue and stamped a small snowflake background stamp all around along with a die cut hill to sled down. I love the sweet stamped and die cut sentiment!
