12 Autumn Thank You Cards

To create these beautiful leaves Iliana used water reactive inks blended on white cardstock, spritz with water and splattered with white paint, then heat embossed the stamp in black and die cut them out. A simple white background over a teal base with stamped sentiment finishes of this Thank You card design beautifully. Watch her tutorial on the Hero Arts blog.

With Thanksgiving coming up soon it’s a wonderful time to Thank someone and let them know how much you appreciate them and all the things they do for you. And nothing says appreciation more than a handmade card. Using Fall floral and botanical themed stamps, dies, pattern papers and stencils you can created beautiful seasonal cards to send some Thanks. So, let’s take a look at some handmade Fall Thank You card ideas to get us inspired.

Jennifer used layering stamps for this stunning Thank You card. If you’re not the best at coloring try layering stamps to add color and dimension with different ink pad colors so no coloring is require for an amazing look. This beautiful red fox, mushrooms and ferns really pop against the black card base on this gorgeous card from Michelle. She used dies and colored cardstocks, adding some inking for shading to the images. There’s also a pretty gold foiled sentiment too. Find all the details at the Spellbinders blog.

Yana used layering stencils (another great way to add color without coloring in) for this lovely leaves card. The design is very bold and graphic with the wreath going over the card edges and the stamped sentiment in the center, with part of it popped up. Carrisa used letterpress plates with inks and water for a beautiful watercolor background on her Autumn card. Overtop she added lots of die cut leaves with touches of gold cardstocks to go along with the gold splatter, background texture and pressed plate sentiment. I love the color palate of rust, navy, salmon and yellow Simeen used on her Fall Leaves Thank You card! She used an inlayed die from Concord and 9th, cutting it from different cardstocks including gold for the veins in the leaves and the sentiment with a navy backing. Carol created a beautiful forest background using stencils for this wonderful Thank You card design. Across the middle she added a wide dry embossed border with die cut pumpkins and leaves in trendy teal and coral colors. She also added a large stamped and die cut sentiment along the bottom. The black stamped bird, sentiment, butterfly and twigs really pop over the background of soft stenciled sunflowers on this Autumn card from Cheryl. She added a faux stitched edge and some gems for extra texture too. I spotted her  pretty idea on the Gina K. Designs Instagram page.

She included lots of shine too with gold cardstock die cut for the sentiment, gold paint splatter, gold gems and soft gold vellum for the dragonfly wings. Even though Halloween is almost over you can still include pumpkins all though Fall. Karen used a coordinating die and stencil combo to create these beautiful pumpkins for her Autumn Thank You card that has so much movement and texture.
