Chari used new dies to create this fantastic Fall fox card. She used plaid pattern paper to give him a cozy plaid sweater and included touches of glitter and splatter for some shimmer and movement. Take a closer look at the Lawn Fawn blog.
Vicky created this card using stencils from Waffle Flower featuring a darling hedgehog bundled up in a big scarf. Her trendy faux postage design uses an air mail striped frame, zig zag die cut around the edges and a few cancelation stamps. Visit the Clips-N-Cuts blog to watch her video tutorial.
This amazing Autumn design from Channin is a shaker card with a stamped squirrel nesting inside of a die cut tree filled with stamped leaves. She colored her stamped images with alcohol markers, adding shading with ink blended and included a heat embossed sentiment on the trunk. Find step by step directions at the Hero Arts blog.
I’m always blown away by Alberto’s coloring! Here he used OLO markers to color in the cute stamped critters that are part of the Stamptember release at Simon Says and also color in his hand drawn Pumpkin Spice Latte. Take a closer peek at the Lo Shakerato Alberto blog.
Patti design an amazing set of 4 mixed media cards with a woodland feel, perfect for masculine cards! She masked off, painted and stenciled 4 sections of watercolor paper for the backgrounds and then stamped, painted and cut out the little animals. Nicky designed this darling Autumn stamped scene with trees, 3 cute critters, a mushroom house and ink blended sky and ground. Notice how she added highlights with a white gel pen for some added dimension. Take a look at the Sunny Studio blog.
Marianne made this cute card with stamps from Whimsy. These kitties are having too much fun in the pumpkin patch popping out of a stack. She stamped and colored them with Copic Markers adding an ink blended and splattered background with a wavy die edge. I spotted her card her Melfving76 Instagram page.
This beautiful card from Jennifer also uses the popular postage idea but this time with a cozy postcard design. She stamped the mouse, fox, pumpkins and sentiment, cut them out and added them onto the stamped and die cut faux postcard. Take a closer look at the LDRS blog.
This amazing card from Amy uses stamps from Sweet November with a wonderful, whimsical Autumn scene. The little mouse is giving his fairy friend a fun ride around the forest with mushrooms and lots of changing leaves. Found all the details at A Thousand Sheets of Paper blog.
This heartfelt Thank You card from Dana used layering stamps from Papertrey Ink. I love layering stamps, there’s no need to color in the images just use different colored ink pads for each layer. Her squirrel is sitting in a bounty of harvest botanicals with a quilted die background and plaid paper layer. Learn more at The Foiled Fox blog.
I love the unique style of this coffee card from Elisabete! She stamped, colored and masked off her cute critters then ink blended the scene background, adding stamped coffee rings and fading out toward the sentiment. Find more info at The Greeting Farm blog.
As we come to our last card I think it’s obvious that foxes are a very popular Fall animal. This lovely card from Gennette has a fox sleeping inside of a die cut layered wreath. For her watercolor she colored directly on the stamps with Tombow markers and then used water to blend out the colors. Find more details at the Art impressions blog.
I hope you’ve been inspired to include some sweet animals on your Autumn cards this year!
