Summer will be winding down soon, the kids are back in school, the sun is setting earlier and Labor Day is almost here. So that means it’s almost time for Fall, one of my favorite times of year, I’m so glad I live in an area where the leaves change to vibrant reds, oranges and yellows! Autumn leaves are a favorite of mine to include on my Fall cards and if you’re getting ready to start creating cards for Fall I’ve gathered together a bunch of lovely leaf cards to get you inspired.

Die cut leaves create a nice wreath over top of pretty pattern paper on this card from Justin. He also added a die cut and heat embossed sentiment. Take a closer look on the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog.
Watercolors, paint splatter and torn paper edges added wonderful color and texture to this row of stamped leaves. Find a link to a Youtube video on craftycat72’s Instagram page.
Here’s another stunning Autumn leaves wreath but this time it’s got a fun shaker element in the middle. These leaves were also water colored, which is a great way to add realistic looking blended colors to your die cut or stamped leaves. Visit the Spellbinders blog for more details.
Instead of coloring in the stamped leaf on this card Cheiron stamped and heat embossed 3 colors of Distress Embossing Powders with a brushstroke stamp. A sentiment strip finishes off the design. Visit the Ranger Ink blog for directions.
Wow, check out this amazing diorama card from Elena! The “doors” pull open to reveal the fun scene inside. The leaves are not a focal point for this design but they add the perfect element to help set the scene as well as adding movement and color. Visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more info.
Pretty pattern paper is a quick and easy way to add Autumn leaves to your cards. Rebecca also used leaves, pumpkin and sentiment stamps from Catherine Pooler along the bottom border, adding some jewels and sequins for some pretty shimmer. Visit the My Cluttered Corner blog for all the details.

Keisha used beautiful Autumn colors of cardstock to create a chevron pattern for the background of this Thank You card. Over top she added a die cut sentiment and a few small Fall leaves. I spotted this design on the Concord and 9th Instagram.
Fall colors of orange and green inks were ink blended on the background of this design with an oval die cut frame that was cut and layered several times for great dimension. Added to the frame are die cut and inked leaves and inside the frame is a gold heat embossed sentiment. I love this rich color pallet! Visit the Expressions with Heart blog for all the details.
